Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address (if you give it) and pickup or delivery address.
- Order details: the garments and services you order, garment tags and processing history, notes such as stains or damage, prices, payments and invoices.
- Membership: your membership tier, points, rewards and, if you share it, your birthday.
- WhatsApp messages: your WhatsApp number, profile name and the messages you send us, and a record of the messages we send you.
- Website and app: basic technical information needed to run them securely.
How we use it
- To collect, clean, track and deliver your garments, and to contact you about your orders.
- To answer your questions on WhatsApp, including automatic replies such as order status and store hours.
- To send service messages such as sign-in codes and "your order is ready" updates.
- To run our membership: points, tiers, rewards and member offers. You can ask us to stop promotional messages at any time.
- To keep accounts, invoices and records required by law, and to prevent fraud or misuse.
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Messages you exchange with us are processed by WhatsApp/Meta under their own terms and privacy policy. To stop WhatsApp offers from us, reply STOP.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only for that purpose: WhatsApp/Meta for messaging, our software and secure cloud hosting providers, our delivery staff (to complete pickups and deliveries), and authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as the law requires (normally up to 8 years for accounting records). Message records are kept for up to 2 years. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. Some records (such as invoices) must be kept by law even if you close your account.
Delete your data
To delete your account and personal data, email hello@thelondonwash.com with the subject "Delete my data", or message us on WhatsApp at +91 85900 00868, from the mobile number registered with us.
Security
Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Staff see only what they need for their work, and sign-in codes and passwords are never stored in plain text.
